A quick note to everyone.  Even though I know I've covered this several times due to recent event I figured I would go it again for everyone.  All subs in this journal are amatur, for fun type things.  They are far from perfect and they are really something I do mainly for myself and share with other since I already have the work done and don't mind sharing.  Translations are NOT done by me but by others.  Most I pay for, some I get from very generous fans of various groups.  The two main translators that you will see often Kiwi and Tetris have live or are living in Japan and have done translations professorially, other than that I don't have their credential and really don't care too much.  I like them, they are polite friendly, and both have helped me out :)  There will proably be mistakes here and there they aren't fans of some of the stuff I have them translate and I only know very basic Japanese to try and match everything up.  So please keep in mind these subs aren't the holy grail and are ultimately just for fun.  If you see a mistake or think the translation isn't what you would do please just take it for what it is a fansub from an amateur and move on :)  Its simply about having fun and enjoying various groups and music :)

Just a notice I will not be posting anything for the next week or two and will have limited activity. I've come down sick and need to take a break. I will try check in to add friends but that will be about it. It isn't a long break but I've got alot of request/questions and I don't want people to think I'm just blowing them off. I've got about 350 comments in my inbox that I just don't feel well enough to deal with right now here are some common questions that I will answer.
  • No on the redistribution of the two recent Kat-tun files right now. I will get back to each request when I'm feeling better.

  • ALL MF links are working for the two recent Kat-Tun shows. If you are having problem please try downloading the file later, or try a different file host.

  • I gave out softsubs to all that have requested them in softsub post. If you didn't request there please do so or you likely won't get the softsubs since it is hard to keep track of all the comments.

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to buy Kat-Tun tour goods right now.[livejournal.com profile] je_goods has some extras she bought at the Niigata concert. You can buy them at  Je Goods Store  I already snagged me some more items since I like their smiley face theme this year, although what does that have to do with Chain? My total is slowly inching its way toward $300.  I still want the bath towel and pouch but I think I can wait until the tokyo show to buy them.

You can also find her concert and backstage report of the Niigata concert HERE at her LJ.

ACTA in a Nutshell –

What is ACTA?  ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. A new intellectual property enforcement treaty being negotiated by the United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada recently announcing that they will join in as well.

Why should you care about ACTA? Initial reports indicate that the treaty will have a very broad scope and will involve new tools targeting “Internet distribution and information technology.”

What is the goal of ACTA? Reportedly the goal is to create new legal standards of intellectual property enforcement, as well as increased international cooperation, an example of which would be an increase in information sharing between signatory countries’ law enforcement agencies.

Essential ACTA Resources

  • Read more about ACTA here: ACTA Fact Sheet
  • Read the authentic version of the ACTA text as of 15 April 2011, as finalized by participating countries here: ACTA Finalized Text
  • Follow the history of the treaty’s formation here: ACTA history
  • Read letters from U.S. Senator Ron Wyden wherein he challenges the constitutionality of ACTA: Letter 1 | Letter 2 | Read the Administration’s Response to Wyden’s First Letter here: Response
  • Watch a short informative video on ACTA: ACTA Video
  • Watch a lulzy video on ACTA: Lulzy Video

Say NO to ACTA. It is essential to spread awareness and get the word out on ACTA.

This has already been signed in US but there is a White House petition here to have this agreement actually go through congress something that didn't happen.
